Myste called me today and gave me some shit about how the state never did get around to taking the money out of Chip's checks at Home Depot and that he DID notify the new place, but they just aren't doing it. (Funny that, he told me THEN that they DID take money out of his checks . . . ) And then she says they were "going to get a money order and send it to the state". Sure. Right. What's that? You seem to recognize that phrase as the old standby, uummm, how did that go? "The check's in the mail." maybe? Yeah, me too. It's a huge load of SHIT i TELL YOU!
i am still pretty angry about it all, but a relatively new friend of mine from work, Kat, is doing pretty bad, too and i focused on being a better friend to him and actually doing some work today. i got all my escalation forms updated and the book is now current so if disaster strikes we are prepared. And i bought Kat a pack of cigarettes. So i bummed some, but he smiled for a minute. He is looking at a probable divorce but it's just the two of them ~ there's no children or infidelities or anything, but it is still kinda scary.
O.Penguin came over just to give me a hug. i really love him, he's great.
i sat at McD's for 5 hours last night. Roni & i got there @ 3:30 because that's when i picked her up and i really didn't have the $ to go anywhere else. It was pretty cool. Around 4:00, my head was just killing me and then some morons opened the ~ (POSTED!) ALARM WILL SOUND ~ door and i thought it was the end of the world, so i took half a pain killer and was half-zonked for a little bit. NaomiBeth got there about 6:00 and played cards with me while the kids played together and there was a really cute little baby boy there i so could fall in love with! We stayed there until 8:30. Nomie is a real sweetheart. i am lucky to know someone as wonderful as she is.
