i just got back from the mall. i hate the mall, just for the record. Especially when i have Roni of the Million Hands. She just has to touch EVERYTHING! i yearn for a time when handcuffs come back as an acceptable tool of parenting; until then, if you see a very embarrassed little girl with her hands on the top of her head, that would most likely be MY child.
i was up there in hopes that Sam Goody would have the HED P.E. CD i have been looking for and they did, but then they also had the exquisite Faithless Sunday 8PM ~ Special Edition and it is a double and it is wonderful and you MUST go NOW and buy it, K? Even if you do not really get into electronic music as a genre, you will most likely find a song or ten on these two CDs that will make you happy and or get you laid, so just shut up and go buy it. Trust me. i love me my music more than most of my 'friends'. Music is magical. Music is emotion. Music is feeling and if you don't believe me, try being angry during anything by K.C. & The Sunshine Band. i DARE you. You may feel stupid, but you smile!
i also picked up the HED P.E., Broke i have been wanting as it is tasty-sexy-fun. i just like the way it makes me feel drunk and free. Lemme alone with my CDs. MINE!
We have a party to go to at one of my family's oldest friends, Les. He was so great this year when Brat & i put together a huge suprise party for our parents' anniversary. We used his house and had a Mex food theme, invited all their friends, had our friends dressed in uniforms of a sort and we all had a great time! They were so surprised! All day long, as we were trying to get this all worked out, we were defining everybody's behavior in relation to the short bus. It was the general consensus that i was chasing the short bus `cause not even they wanted me. (i'm telling you now, kids are cruel.) Then, the rest of the night, Russ regaled the young, perfect, pretty little teenaged girls with stories of some of our parties and shows and tried to entice them all back to his apartment in Dallas. i had to work the next day, so i left before he did and found out later that he DID get them out there, but (HA-HA!!!!!!!) they brought their boyfriends, too! Why that man loves jailbait i'll NEVER understand. i gave up my Baby Boy `cause he was too young and he WAS of legal drinking age. (he also delivered food and lived WITH his mommy. Now, he delivers food and lives OFF his mommy.)
Age is relative, guys, so get a REAL job before you try to get serious. And examine your party lifestyle. if you really want a seroius relationship, stop partying. Don't wait `till you find HER and change FOR 'HER'. Get straight then look. Otherwise, when it gets tough, you will blame her for your lack of "recreation and relaxation" when it was YOUR CHOICE and there will be RESENTMENT. It just gets uglier. just a thought. Hey, it goes for you girls, too. Become an adult you before getting involved. It really helps, i promise. "Playing House" is still partying and lots of fun, but that's not life.
