i dreamt i saw you walking
up a hillside in the snow
casting shadows on the winter sky
as you stood there counting crows
one for sorrow, two for joy,
three for girls, and four for boys,
five for silver, six for gold, and
seven for a secret never to be told

there's a bird that nests inside you
sleeping underneath your skin
when you open up your wings to speak
i wish you'd let me in

playing catch-up!

Friday was not very eventful. *snort!*

i spent my morning online amusing The (Good) Spooky Crackhead! he is always a great day waiting to happen! I also chatted with Mr. Non-adhesive Nose about religion and we found that coming from two way different views, we did see eye to eye on a few things. He is so cool, guys, i may be a total crackfiend, but i loves me some Rizzn, too! And he should quote HIMSELF saying, "If i could have just one wish i would wish for a more adhesive nose." Mrs. Mangled Indie Doll came to type hi for a few after an interview with O.Penguin, and he was on, too to say hi and he loves me. Abby was on all afternoon and mostly amused the aforementioned CB. Wow, that was a lot of chatting.

i joined a new web ring that amused me a LOT. You will the nifty new neat-o pic i made just for it below. i hope the almighty webmistress likes my new pic, too . . . it tickled me to use 'Rage Italic' font to make it, but then i love the small details and i'm easily amused. i counted today and i have personally saved 5 diaries from templates. Notice, i didn't say they were all sexy and pretty layouts . . . but neither are they templates. i am not totally amazing like some people, but then i do like to keep it really simple and balanced without clutter. Silly me.

Brat came home for the weekend. Within 5 minutes, we had done the meet~n~greet and moved on to fighting. i was just teasing her a little and the next thing i know, she punched the shit outta my arm (still hurts), called me a name of two, walked out, slammed the door and revved her engine but good on the way out of the drive way. i tried to cancel mine and Roni's presence at the dinner but when it comes to matching wills with MY Dad . . . well, i have one a battle of two, but i have learned that it hurts more to win than it does to lose and it's even better to propose, discuss and let him convince me rather than turn it into a battle. So, i was there for the pizza Mom ordered while Brat and Jax did laundry and . . .

Roni yakked all over the bathroom. Toaster Boy was in there as i came up to see why Roni had been yelling and i hear him say, "Hey, what did you have for lunch? There's still things in there good enough to EAT!" and i almost lost it right then. i can handle any bodily function there is and have without a problem, but needles make me shake and cry and pass out and i am a total sympathy chukker. The only part of Hannibal i couldn't watch was when he slid that needle into her arm. i was giggling at the brain. Go ask O.Penguin, he was right there. i had to cover my mouth a few spots to not laugh out loud. But i can NOT smell, hear, or - dog forbid - SEE puke or i will add to the problem. i am not proud of this.

i was supposed to stop by and have dinner with Russ, but i missed it so i stopped by his place and left a note on his door that i wanted to have a late lunch (or 'breakfast' as we night people call it) at about 1 or 2 Saturday. Then i get home to find a note on MY door from Sarah telling me to call or stop by to see her! She is so sweet . . . i'm gonna miss her so much! We will be getting together, probably Monday to have dinner and dye one last time. i think, with out her here, i'm giving up. i will probably go for a light ash brown to match my natural color as closely as possible without going back to blonde. i hated being blonde. HATED. i just can't get all excited about it without a dye partner. it's just more fun with two. :(

i was digging through my old tapes that had moved with me from Crunch (the little Nissan Sentra) to Lil, and now to Calla, and there he was . . . my first 'real' concert . . . George Michael. It was Faith. My Mom took me to that concert! The Bangles opened and i got a t-shirt and we had so much fun that Mom went out the next day and bought HERSELF a copy of the tape! i have to say, if it's been a while since you really paid attention to it, pull it out, dust off the tape player if, like me, you don't own it on CD, and really listen to it. you can skip "Faith", "Father Figure", and "i Want Your Sex (part one)", if you like, but pleeeeeeze at least listen to "Hard Day" and "Kissing A Fool". i love those two the most and highly recommend them. i also have a thing for "Hand To Mouth".
