i dreamt i saw you walking
up a hillside in the snow
casting shadows on the winter sky
as you stood there counting crows
one for sorrow, two for joy,
three for girls, and four for boys,
five for silver, six for gold, and
seven for a secret never to be told

there's a bird that nests inside you
sleeping underneath your skin
when you open up your wings to speak
i wish you'd let me in

Saturday was pretty mellow. Roni and i woke up late and had a late lunch at Jack in the box with Russ & Mary. He is so funny. One of the first things he says is, "Hey, you are losing weight! You are starting to look good . . . but you still need that breast reduction." The things only he can get away with . . . go figure. The things i have said to him and then lived . . . we're so even, i promise.

After our lunch, we all stopped by Hunter's to see my boys and i gave them the info on the interview we needed to do on them for the zine, found out how they have been doing and hung out for a few. We left when they moved to the garage to . . . smoke. See, i had a dream the night before where no matter where i went, everyone kept trying to get me stoned. There was only one problem ~ everything i touched went out. NOTHING would stay lit! So, since i had Roni i had to pass even though i was apparently supposed to be there doing just that. Very odd and surreal.

We had our W.T.W. meeting that night and got freaky with the chickens, but nothing else really happened. i left and passed on going out to dinner. Roni was tired so i took her home, read THREE chapters and snuggled with her until she fell asleep then i read a book and went to sleep. It's a dirty little secret but i have a strange fondness for Amanda Quick novels. Her heroes and heroines are always so strange and unique and the plots are funny. It's a nice, pleasant, mindless way to pass three hours with some laughs and a mystery.

Sunday, i woke up late and proceeded to remain late most of the day. i got to work at 7:30 and found out that Ra had a meeting with T.M.I.M. and finally told him he was our weakest link. He has been in this job a year now and should NOT be asking BASIC CMS QUESTIONS. He should understand call flow and the stats by now. He should know how to when to approve sched change requests and how to process them. He should be able to create a phone login and schedule for an agent. He should be able to do his job. He can't. If we try to further inform or guide him ~ even at his request ~ he becomes hostile. His complete and total denseness irritates me to no end. She e-mailed me Saturday after her meeting with him that she told him i'd work with him if he was nice to me. That i would train and shape his skills (or total lack thereof) as long as he was polite. i left at 2:15 instead of 7:30.
