i dreamt i saw you walking
up a hillside in the snow
casting shadows on the winter sky
as you stood there counting crows
one for sorrow, two for joy,
three for girls, and four for boys,
five for silver, six for gold, and
seven for a secret never to be told

there's a bird that nests inside you
sleeping underneath your skin
when you open up your wings to speak
i wish you'd let me in

Anyone for Rummy?

i called Russ but he wasn't home. i left a message and i will try again today.

i ran home really quick to shower and change after work but dozed off on Roni's bed before O.Penguin got there, so there we were, me, comfortable sleepy and him there telling me that he may be in love with a wonderful girl . . . it was so sweet. He told me all about her.

OK, so you may have a different feel for the relationship between me and O.Penguin, but really, he is a very good friend. We have a long history and several years of separation, but he was my best friend a long time ago and we are closer now than we were then. i love, respect and cherish him. i still say he's perfect, under the assumption that perfection is relative and subjective. The subject is relatively perfect, OK?

He could never replace Russ to me, for they are entirely separate and different people, and i love them both. i don't have to choose. My best and closest friends have almost always been guys.

O.Penguin and i went out for Chinese and talked and goofed off and then we drove around for a while with the windows open and the radio blaring Classic Rock. We ended up at Tish's watching Jackass and just WOW! i don't really watch TV and i don't have cable so i had never seen this show and it was funnier than . . . umm . . . well . . . . than anything i can think of right now! These guys are crazy! We watched a few other things and then left to go home and get sleep.

It was a nice night and i was so shocked ~ O.Penguin let ME drive for a change! He did pretty well with it though i probably scared him a bit a few times. One was his fault ~ i was doing 50+ past Six Flags on the access road and he was yelling for me to look at the new `coaster. So i was trying to drive and ogle the ride and i was all over the road, but no one else was out there so it was all ok. And there were all the RR tracks i flew over . . . now THAT was some fun!
