OH! OH! OH! i am in such a much better mood today!
i got to see Russ last night and Abby and i ended up staying until like 9-9:30 playing on the computer and talking . . . . it was so great to just sit around and chill with him with no real demands or constraints. i felt like i could finally breathe again! He actually kinda likes my page! He looked at the source for Toaster Boy and was, if not impressed, at least . . . umm . . . pleased(?) with my progress and a little perplexed that i will only build in text boxes. You have to understand that this man is a genius and even hearing "Not bad . . ." from him is very high praise!
He has been over at Hunter's lately and had a new Syphon disk to play bits for me from and i almost died from the multiples! It is the best the guys have done yet and i'm so excited!
When Abby had to leave to meet her man for dinner, i dropped her off at her car, entrusted 2 of my most precious CDs to her and then zoomed to Hunter's just as fast as i could! P.B. answered the door and, since Roni was wearing the butterfly mask she got from Russ, i told him we were there Trick-or-Treating for CDs! We ran into Hunter and Bridge as we were walking in and hugs all around it was a love fest, YAY! We were very lucky ~ we not only got a copy of the CD AND we got to hear it along with some even NEWER stuff that they have been working on and can i just say that these guys get nothing but better? They are already my most favorite band-i-know, but now they are just . . . . OMFD WOW! i am hyperly and anxiously awaiting the release and debut of the new full album and there is not any patience left in me!
OH! Funny note ~ Bridge was working on the paperwork and stuff when we got there and asked for a printable opinion of the band from me . . . . i was listening to the CD and told him i would think on it for a few while i listened . . . . i ran to the back with in 2 minutes to jot down this ::
"Syphon is just orgasmic. If you can't beg, borrow, steal, or download it, just kill yourself now. Life would be totally worthless."
Strange . . . i hadn't been over there in a while and i really missed them a lot. i hadn't realized how much until i stepped in the door and got a big hug from P.B. My dog, he is utterly delightful! And Bridge was so sweet . . . He gave Roni guitar lessons! Hunter is always wonderful and Roni adores him, too, since he is the Daddy Claw ~ out to get her tummy! (That's what prompted her to invent the evil twin menaces ~ The Baby Claws!) Have i mentioned a few times how much i just love these guys?! i LOVE THEM, i DO!
Wow, it was totally like an old home week or something! *Louis, you have to meet these guys, but tell me what you think after you hear the T.I.A.M.P. CD, K? Be kind to my most valuable and cherished baby, please!* : )
OK, now, i just want to say right now that i talked to Russ and we are ok. i truly love that man! i am so very lucky!
