i dreamt i saw you walking
up a hillside in the snow
casting shadows on the winter sky
as you stood there counting crows
one for sorrow, two for joy,
three for girls, and four for boys,
five for silver, six for gold, and
seven for a secret never to be told

there's a bird that nests inside you
sleeping underneath your skin
when you open up your wings to speak
i wish you'd let me in

"No, it looked like . . ."

Still no Internet at work and since i don't go home to the parent's very often, i only checked mail really quick Saturday and logged off. They don't know when they will have it fixed. Crappy.

You know that old adage about how the more money you have the deeper in debt you tend to get into? Or something like that? Yeah, well, i can tell you it's pretty much right on. The more money you have, the easier it is to spend it, even when you have bills to pay with it. Especially when you are the only one earning it, and the only one you have to answer to about it. Just an observance.

Last week was not too very eventful for the most part. Monday was dinner at the parents' with Angel and it turned out pretty good. Mom didn't yell at me too very much about money and then Dad flew his game online while we played dominoes. Tuesday and Wednesday Roni and i chilled at home and did not a lot. Thursday, my love came back and took us out to a lovely dinner at our favorite Chinese restaurant and then we played at Putt-Putt for a few hours. Roni can NOT golf. i can not bat unless i'm angry. She multiplied the par by about 10. i missed more than i hit. But, we had a really great time.

To be with my Angel is better than being anywhere else. i am surprised everyday by how easy it is to love him and how i find new things to love about him every moment. He is so completely unique and wonderful and treats me so well that i am getting spoiled! But i appreciate it so much i could never take him for granted.

Friday was interesting. My ex-husband's grandparents are so amazingly wonderful and lovely people and i love them but i don't spend a lot of time there so as not to step on his toes or be involved with his family. Well, since Darth Mom has Roni during the day for last and this week and was staying with Grandmother while Grandad was out of town i was over there and noticed that the huge beautiful back yard was over grown and badly in need of some work. None of the kids live near anymore except the one who would rather die than sweat for 2 minutes and so it had probably been a year and a half since it had been worked on and the ivy had grown over everything. I volunteered to come by on my day off and do some work on the yard for her since i love that yard almost as much as i love Grandmother.

So, on Thursday night i break the news to Angel that i have to spend a few hours doing some yard work on Friday and he volunteered to go with me and help. We got there around 10am and worked until 1:30 and i got burnt to a crisp. We played in the hose and sprinkler on our break and waged a seemingly endless war on the ivy that we finally won. It was some hard but satisfying manual labor that satisfied our need to destroy things and work out some stress. She pays about $6 an hour unless you work really hard and she may pay more. We got $7 `cause we rawk!

After that, we went to Russ and Mary's to play in the water and be goofy. Bert and Candi came, too, and we all had fun. Got home around midnight, took a quick shower, snuggled down, and passed out and actually slept for once!

Saturday we washed the vehicles until they strutted with pride and wowed the masses and then we chilled at home for a while. Angel and i dropped Roni off at my parent's at about 5:30 and left at about 6 to go out to the loveliest Mexican restaurant with amazing food though it was a pretty close thing ~ we almost chucked the whole food idea to stay home and stare at each other . . . he is so lovely . . . when we got back, we watched Mulan to relax and then decided to go with the whole staring thing anyways! Did i mention yet how much i like this guy? He is my friend as much as a lover and he makes me laugh and feel all glowing and happy just by being there. And the magic hands make my tummy flutter and pool into a warm liquid feeling ~ even when he only touches my arm.

i came home to find him watching Instinct after work on Sunday, so we settled in and watched it with him. Then, we all three grocery shopped and came home to throw together a random dinner and get some sleep.

i don't know if i'll ever have internet up here again so i don't know how often i'll be able to post for a little . . . they promise us they'll get it fixed. Just call it a vacation from my insane self-absorbed babbling and throw a party for me!
