i dreamt i saw you walking
up a hillside in the snow
casting shadows on the winter sky
as you stood there counting crows
one for sorrow, two for joy,
three for girls, and four for boys,
five for silver, six for gold, and
seven for a secret never to be told

there's a bird that nests inside you
sleeping underneath your skin
when you open up your wings to speak
i wish you'd let me in

i'm applying for a job tomorrow . . .

Hello, everyone! i an in love and the world is, overall, a pretty good place. i don't know why, but then, i don't want to ask, either. My Angel inspires such happiness in me that i'm delirious most of the time.

i finally took his advice and let last week go to recover and recoup from the shock of the lay off (i also got a lot done in the apartment and read a book i've been meaning to read.).

Monday, we did yard work for Chip-head's grandparents since it's always nice to do physical labor until you are sore and exhausted . . . well, sometimes nice, anyways. We told them we'd work for a nice lunch, but they paid us anyways, and that was nice as i used it to buy some pants for the both of them, black school shoes for Roni and a cookbook for me.

After we finished up the front trimmings at G & G's we showered and picked up the girl for dinner with Angel's Dad. He is a very friendly, open, larger-than-life, brash man ~ Roni loved him! We had some Mexican food at a little place and then went to see Angel's step-brother's new baby. Next stop was home for sleep!

Today, we dropped Roni off at school and stopped at Angel's other Apartment to switch the phone out of his name and set up for disconnection of the electric. Then we stopped by out apartment and got him on the lease and went to his Mom's to visit. She took us out to Tia's Tex-Mex for lunch and then we goofed around and played with her pretty rocks and she gave us a beautiful set of china dishes! They are white with blush and silver roses and a band of real silver around the edge of each one! Now i can ditch the hideously ugly dishes that were rejected in the 70's and given to me! YAY! We also came home with a box of kid's books and an Atari! His Mom is so lovely and sweet and i like her a lot. i'm so glad she is this wonderful!

OK, here is the serious part ~ i got a call last night from my Dad telling me that Naomi had her baby and i called her immediately to congratulate her. Well, i want to say that it would prolly be too much if everyone e-mailed her, but i'm sure she'd love to see a few sweet messages on her guest book and a few prayers for her sweet baby boy . . . from what she told me, he is not in the best shape heart wise and is going to need some medical assistance to be a healthy, normal baby, but with some love and help, he should be fine and able to come home. So, everyone go send them both your love and best wishes, thank you!
