i dreamt i saw you walking
up a hillside in the snow
casting shadows on the winter sky
as you stood there counting crows
one for sorrow, two for joy,
three for girls, and four for boys,
five for silver, six for gold, and
seven for a secret never to be told

there's a bird that nests inside you
sleeping underneath your skin
when you open up your wings to speak
i wish you'd let me in

It's BROKEN! Fix it!

Today is broken. It simply isn't working right and someone needs to come fix it for me.

Someone like the glass man downstairs fixing the window on Angel's car right now. (He's not really MADE of glass, he just FIXES glass. Well, not exactly, he really REPLACES it . . . you get the idea)

i have to sit by the girl who rivals Mark, TMIM. She has a high, squeaky whine and never finishes a thought, just rambles slowly on inspiring all around her to commit suicide just to be quit of her company. She the most irritating laughs known to man. She talks really really loud. All the time. About nothing. It's traumatic, i tell you.

After a full day of attempting but failing to ignore her, i headed home. I-30 was shut down to one lane. This is usually busy all day and night and has three lanes at the least. One lane. Can we all write the words "Stop and Stop Traffic"?!

When i get home, Angel and The Roomie are on the porch watching the car. The car i parked next to. Angel's car. The car missing a back driver's side window. Yeah, the $250 SATURN window.

The window was not all that was missing. The really great new CD / MP3 stereo was gone along with several other important things.

So, any ideas? Who can come fix my day?
