Hey, sorry i haven't written in a week . . . i've been busy!
Between work, family, and my other work i have been staying occupied. i finally finished The Mighty Bruja's custom page per her specifications and she is blissed and then i had two other requests i finished the templates for but still have to put up and then "tweak".
it makes me happy.
Roni's birthday was Saturday and she was very happy with the movie we got her - Monsters, Inc - and her new baby. Now, if this baby is any indication, i'll be the BEST damn Gramma in the world! Angel picked out and bought the baby, it self, and it came with a Snugi-type carrier and a porta highchair (the kind that clamps on the edge of the table). i, then, took the baby shopping. Yes, that was me wandering around Babies 'R' Us with a DOLL looking for clothes. That was ME with the same DOLL at Big Lots talking to it about hats, shoes, blankets, and bibs. And yes, that was ME buying the $50 baby Moses bassinet for a DOLL. i think i spent about $120 - $150 on this doll. But it's all worth it when Ronica is in HEAVEN with the idea of a baby that is a GIRL as she loves her brothers, but they are BOYS, and she's tired of boys.
She is still thrilled and named the baby 'Ramona Allain'. i just call her 'Mo' and her momma gets mad at me, but i'm the Gramma, right?
Sunday, we had Thanksgiving at my parents so that Toaster Boy could be there with us as he may not be back for Christmas.
Monday i worked and we had dinner and spent time together.
Tuesday i worked and got home in time to have dinner and see Ronica for a bit before Chip came and took her off for the holiday. Then, Angel and i went to see Harry Potter (FINALLY!). Ronica didn't want to see it again as it was 'too scary'. i, on the other hand, LOVED IT!
Last night i got home, gave Angel some love and fell asleep. At 6:30pm. i didn't wake up until 10:30am today.
This morning, i got up, showered, dressed, and took Angel to breakfast at Denny's and then sent him off to work at noon with hugs and kisses. Now i'm heading over to Cyndi's to have another Thanksgiving. i'll be making tortilla soup there!
