things are moving along around here in quite a nice manner.
it was father's day & Micah's b-day this weekend so The Ronica was at a premium. she came over Friday night so Chip could go out (something he does frequently now that he's not sick constantly) and we ate at Outback because she was dying for some steak. after that we chilled out at home listening to music and setting up her new computer. i don't have her online currently as i need to buy a hub/router thingy and i just haven't gotten around to it yet. i was able to transfer some of her stuff to it with my new little mp3 player/junk drive that came free with the SD card i bought for my new digital camera.
i searched and read and studied like crazy to find just the right one for me. i wanted an 8 - 12 mega pixel but i had to start with a budget for the moment and so i went with the Samsung Digimax L60. There are no reviews written up on it yet, but i did find this article written prior to the official release. The important facts are as follows - 6 mega pixels, 5x digital/3x optical zoom, 32mb flash memory, 2.4" LCD and the coolest little Li-ion rechargeable battery with charger. i am in loooove with this little baby! i have been looking around for a tripod that i like because it has a movie mode and self timer so there are a lot of options there. i have been playing with it and have decided that i chose well.
other than that, i spend most of my time laying low, hanging with Chris & Stacy or Mary & Sean and quiet a bit of time on the phone with the hottest man on Earth. i think i can cross a few more things off my "sex acts i want to have done" list . . . Mary and i were talking about that on the way home from RJ Gator's today. i have no intention of ever giving up my freedom and i'll never settle for infrequent lame sex from a lazy lover again. life is too short for that shit.
i'm still losing weight - mostly from forgetting about eating, to be honest - it's too damn hot to really work out much. the good news is that i have my Lane Bryant card now and can buy my new sizes as i slip into them. my Mom bought me three new pairs of slacks for mother's day because the old ones didn't fit anymore.
on the down side i still reach for my speed dial 4 on occasion without thinking but it's no big deal. i put someone else on option 4 and talk to them instead. life goes on and i think i'll take the lack of stress over the frenetic excitement anyway. i'm happy, relaxed, mellow and i find it easier to think and breathe now. the only one around here that still has issues is that cat. she is up my ass night and day! oh, well, i'll have to find her a new home soon enough anyways with my moving in January.
