We finally watched Big Fat Liar. it was killer and totally awesome, really, it WAS! Sure there is a fable-istic feel to the whole thing, but who cares when you get to see such a shit get turned blue with orange hair and watch as his life is ruined. The action flowed seamlessly and the dialog was great.

Now, you are prolly scratching your little heads and wondering "WHY is mis talking about a KID MOVIE?" Well, the answer is simple.

FOUR DAYS IN A ROW!

Four days in a row Ronica came home with stamps instead of notes telling us how she'd misbehaved during that day! We bought Big Fat Liar a few weeks ago as it is the second more amazing movie in Ronica's life. She was so happy and we all watched it together. Awww . . . a happy family moment brought to you by Eminem.

Yes, you heard me right, Eminem is indirectly responsible for our wonderful Spaghetti Warehouse and Big Fat Liar evening.

i know this may sound strange, but Roni is a huge Eminem fan and no, she doesn't listen to anything here that is not played on the radio stations. She has been aware for the new movie, 8 Mile, that Eminem stars in for quite a while. We discussed it and agreed that is we could let her watch XXX, she could watch this.

Of course, being parents, we had to throw the ONE CONDITION in there that makes it all the sweeter - to go see 8 Mile she has to have a perfect week.

i know, seems a little tough, and i agree, i didn't want to make it a perfect one, either, but it was out of his mouth and done before i could stop it, so i had to go with it. This week has been like heaven. She does what she is told and behaves wonderfully. She is so quiet and obedient in school, the teachers are in shock. her entire PE class was being crazy and making trouble and she was just sitting there, quiet as a mouse. The teacher kept looking at her and smiling in surprise!

All this angelic behavior is for Eminem. She has his picture hanging over her bed that she won at the fair. She has stolen the Entertainment Weekly with him on the cover a few times. It is just too cute to listen to her singing "Without Me" in the shower . . .

i don't know, folks, it's a weird world we live in.
