i dreamt i saw you walking
up a hillside in the snow
casting shadows on the winter sky
as you stood there counting crows
one for sorrow, two for joy,
three for girls, and four for boys,
five for silver, six for gold, and
seven for a secret never to be told

there's a bird that nests inside you
sleeping underneath your skin
when you open up your wings to speak
i wish you'd let me in

do you want to buy or auction?

today was better than yesterday. yes, indeed.

i stayed up really late (3:35am) chatting with The Tick 'cause if i had to pick a wise man for my tribe, i'd pick him - he's smart enough to know there are still things to learn from others and that he'll never know everything.

Crackbaby would be the medicine man.

The Bad Boy, however, would be Tha MAN.

we had scheduled for him to be here this morning at 10 to fix the truck and i overslept but he didnt even call until 11. i got up and showered and called him back 10 minutes later and fed him some leftover pizza for breakfast.

then we got over to AutoZone and had them check out the truck. oh, yeah, it was the starter. i shelled out the card and bought the part. i got the truck back to the overflow parking lot here and got it all ready for him. he ran back by his place and got the tools to do the job and got started.

it started sprinkling. he continued on.

it started raining. he was going to continue but i made him go inside.

he was half-way through the Game Informer when Mary called for a ride and i invited her over if she wanted. she wanted to and then she and i took his car to IHOP to have some coffee. i dropped her off at work and came back to send him back to AutoZone for an extension of the right size and a replacement for the one he broke. (there was a tough bolt.)

he apparently had a few errands to run and did so for the next hour but was back under the truck, in the pouring rain, finishing the job and saving the day in no time.

i went and got my babygirl and he left to find out what his shifts were this week at Denny's after changing to dry clothes.

he may come over and watch Ghost Ship with me some time this week, though because everyone else flakes out of the movie watching. i mean, so WHAT if you live in Washington DC, is that supposed to be some kind of excuse? WHATEVER! i know you just don't love me enough to come watch a movie with me. *sniff*

ok, it's Monopoly time, kiddies!

2 + 1 = how many people love me!
