today is my day off and i am up, showered and dressed at 7:45am and this just sucks.

The Ronica has a sadist dentist appointment this morning at 8:30 so i have to go soon. she's in the bathroom brushing her teeth right now.

we had lemon cake for breakfast! yay-go-me! i'm the BEST momi in the whoooole WORLD!

oh! oh! did i tell you that i finally got Princess Mononoke?! it came about a week ago and i was so happy but i didn't get to watch it until last night. it was great and i truly love Miyazaki's films. he takes fantastic plots and fills them in with rich colors, amazingly real characters, bizarre plot twists, and his own wildly different and original ideas. the man is genius personified. the movie was only an hour and a half but it felt like i was fighting the the war, too. it draws you into the story and makes if feel real to you. love love love love this movie.

now all i have to do is watch Castles in the Sky.

tonight is the night i hang with the girls so wish me luck! tomorrow is dinner with the parents and Friday is empty. Saturday is work followed by a gathering at The Tick's new casa. fun times!
