i somehow picked up a 'bug' and i'm still trying to dispose of it. It has been a red Christmas. i have been unable to sleep more than a few hours at a time for so long that i finally crashed last night at 7:30pm after finishing up shoppng for the last few gifts.
In other news, i FINALLY got the salad shooter i have been looking for for 4 years! Mom and Brat found it and snapped it up and guess waht?! It's the Professional model which means it's BIG! i am insanely excited about this gift and it wasn't even on my list as i had given up even looking for it anymore. i was pretty sure they'd stopped making them.
i also got some other cool stuff including $200 to go shopping at Lane Bryant and $150 for Best Buy. Angel got $600 for Best Buy and Ronica scored $20 for Penney's and $75 for Zootopia. We will be shooping fools and i'm getting a CD / CD-R/W / MP3 playing audio system for the truch so i can have music, too! After that we are thinking of getting a bigger TV for the living room. We are very excited that everyone really listened to us and got what was on the list - that way we can pool the resources and get the big stuff that improves quality over the little crap that increases quantity of dust catching appratusses ('appartii'? 'appratices'?) that litter our home. We made it clear that if they were not feeling the love with gift certificates they were free to apply that money in another place and we'd be fine with that, we just couldn't take any more crap to clog up the apartment with. There's no room!
Well, more on the fantastic day we really did have depsite the illness/discomfort/sleepiness later. i have a snuggle to catch before it starts to snore!
